The BabyStart fertility test is a highly effective screening test for male fertility potential. You can obtain a strong indication as to the quality of your sperm by testing a sample for concentration.
The Fertility test includes full instructions, 2 cups and/or 2 condoms for collecting the sperm sample, droppers for transferring the sample to the tester, one test cassette and test solution liquid.
Two tests are conducted on your semen sample over a 3-7 day period. Both tests are carried out as follows: a semen sample is collected and placed in a special cup provided. After 15 minutes, the semen is added to a test cassette and the result read.
The test is positive if represents 20 million sperm per ml, which is the cut off quantity recommended by the World Health Organisation between fertile and infertile.
The test is negative if your sperm is less than 20 million sperm per ml. Where this is the case, it would be appropriate to seek medical advice.
